I decided that after about 5 years of having the image hosting service at images.pwc-gaming.com to finally put a password on it, because after going through and cleaning out the files of PHP scripts disguised as JPG, GIF, and BMP it is not being used for it’s purpose. I will just be using it for myself. I found it funny that they would try that because never in the code do I tell it to open and read the file so our server will never process anything that is not a php as a php script. I assume they are going for incompetent programmers who don’t know about file security.

I also found a ton of “hacked by so-and-so” which they obviously weren’t… but then again that could have been used to post on a remote site, and since our server is reliable hosting they used it (or they found any unmoderated image hosting service)

Regardless, I found it fun and I cleared out all the crap hosted and now our image hosting is virus free Not to say anyone could have gotten a virus from any of the uploaded files because none of them were actual windows viruses, just PHP code to give full control.
